Angelo Casali, born in 1954 in Riccione, lives in Rimini (Italy), he is married and father of three daughters. He writes songs since he was 18 years old and he worked since 1970 on folk – music (with “ZAFRA” group) and satirical comedy (with “ARFAZ” and “CANICOLA” groups), side by side with the need of an original musical production.

In 1978 he began to work as a soloist on his own songs with a band of musicians, a few of them are still working with him.

His musical production is not classifiable in a single kind, because it ranges from the folk – ballad to samba – bossanova, from fables to crude life stories, from satirical songs to which based on the ultimate questions about the sense of life.

He published a collection named: “per chi vuole cantare”, a single track "una voce, in cerca di stelle", a compilation of satirical songs: “Frizzi & Lazzi” and three tales (collana "Cantiracconti" ed. mus. Rodaviva) where the narration is mixed with music and songs.

He was present in many editions (since 1980 to 2008) of the “Meeting for friendship among peoples” in Rimini .

Since 2001, when he started again his musical work afther a long pause, he is member of the national association "il mio Dio canta Giovane" wich collect most of the italian christian singers.

At present he practises a profession a long way off the artistic sphere but he keeps on with music and he proposes his songs in meetings, feasts, cultural events and by this website he is trying to meet a larger public interested to non - homologated musical experiences.
